Safety

Attached are links to the HIDOE Emergency plans and the Emergency Procedures Guide. These are the cornerstones of our safety procedures in the event of:

Threats;

Hazardous situations;

Campus Disturbances;

Active Threats;

Natural disaster; and

Lockdowns;

Shelter-in-Place; and evacuations.

 

In the case of a dangerous threat on campus, we evacuate only when safe and instructed to do so by first responders (HPD, HFD).

 

Please do not try to contact your family member since all cellular phones should be muted, and we have to keep land lines open for communication purposes. Students, faculty, and staff have been instructed to remain quiet (no talking) in Lockdown and Shelter-In-Place situations.
